• A written note from the parent or guardian must be sent to change the transportation status for a student. No phone calls are allowed for changes in transportation. The student should bring the written permission from their parent or guardian the day of the change.
• The note must have the date and the name and address of the person they are going home with from school.

• Your student can be referred to the teacher support team to evaluate data each nine weeks and progress.
• Speak with your student's teacher about their progress.

• School doors open at 7 a.m.
• Classes begin at 7:35 a.m.
• Early bus dismissal is at 2:25 p.m. followed by car rider dismissal.
• Late bus dismissal is at 3 p.m.

Yes, the nurse will call each time your student is sick and needs further attention. If they are running a fever or vomiting, the nurse will call all contacts until someone is reached who can pick up the student. For more information, visit our health and wellness page.

• The school nurse can administer medication to your student with appropriate medication forms. The form must be completed by your physician and parent/guardian must bring the form and medication to the school nurse.

Khan Academy offers practice exercises and instructional videos. Math teachers will often assign work as part of your student's weekly requirements. Time is given in class to complete the assignments, but if your student is having trouble finishing them in class they may be assigned for homework. 

Reading Plus offers comprehension skills and vocabulary practice. Time is given in class to complete the assignments but if your student is having trouble finishing them in class they may be assigned for homework.

Fourth graders will drop off/pick up at the back line by the storm shelter. Third graders will drop off under the awning at the side of the gym.

Homework varies teacher to teacher. Check your student's planner, see the newsletter or weekly email to see when homework is due.

One of the best ways you can help your student be a better reader is to read with them 20 minutes every day.

Flash cards are a great way to help your student learn math facts. There are tons of free resources online also that will help your student master their math facts.

Yes, we will send information home.

The red folder allows us to communicate weekly with the parent. The red folder will contain grades, student work, important notes, lunch menus, extra-curricular activity opportunities, etc. D and F papers need to be signed and sent back in the folder with the student on Friday.

There are many ways to contact your student's teacher. You can email, call the school and leave a message, text the teacher using the SchoolStatus number your student's teacher will share at the beginning of the year or write a note asking the teacher to contact you.

Try emailing your student's teacher. Email is the best form of communication and usually the quickest way to get a response. If you do not hear back within 24 hours, you may contact the office to leave a message.
